Luxury lighting for the Bathroom a la Southern Accents

Southern Accents ran a great piece on ideas for the bathroom and included one of our most popular chandeliers. Our Jackson light was shown in our aged tea finish. We felt very proud to be included in one of the last issues of Southern Accents. Certainly a sad day to see such a great magazine go.

A Master Blacksmith and His Apprentice

Every year Avrett brings on an apprentice or two. This past year we were featured in a prominent regional magazine. We did a tour of our workshop and a Q&A about our program and our apprentice.

Kitchen Island in Southern Accents March/April 2009

For this project we produced a minimal Parsons style Kitchen Island with a bottom shelf. The designer choose our Polished Metal f12 finish.

2008 Southern Accents Reynolds Plantation Show House

Avrett sponsored the 2008 Southern Accents Reynolds Plantation show house. Designer Barbara Howard produced a stunning interior for this Lake Front home outside of Atlanta GA. We were fortunate to have numerous pieces used in the space by Barbara. In the images below you can see our Sumter Cocktail table used in a sitting room. Our Hopetown Side table was used in the little girls room as a tea set area. We finished the hopetown in a very fun metallic cobalt blue.

Sculptural Spiral Staircase in Southern Accents March/April 2006

This Spiral Staircase has become a popular reference project for Avrett. It is a dramatic sculptural piece that appears to float above your head as you enter the front of the residence. A hole had to be cut in the roof of this 18th century home and we used a crane to lift the staircase into place. We produced a lot of ironwork that runs throughout this house, including the awning shown in the 2nd image. This house was stunning when completed.
